I did a LOT of shrooms in my 20's. The overwhelming majority of the experiences were positive. You just need to surround yourself with the right people and atmosphere.

The thing is with shrooms is it hits you hard the first time, similarly with the first times you get high or drunk. After around three or four times, you actually may realize you feel almost no "tripping" effects and instead you only feel far more in tune with your senses. @FightBackNWO I would classify it as habitual rather than addictive, its not a physically addictive substance and as far as mental addiction that is minimal compared to alchohol, but i could defiantly agree to habit forming. Habits are hard to break as well
